The IND560fill can be used with simple single material or more advanced multiple material applications, blending up to four different materials. The entire contents can also be dispensed or dosed in a precise, controlled manner into single or multiple containers for the weigh-out cycle. In addition, the operator may program the controls to repeat the process a set number of times.

Improved Programming Flexibility in FillPlus-560

Formula rescaling, which improves efficiency by ensuring that formulations can be produced even when varying amounts of raw material are available. Rescaling can be calculated based on any of three bases:

• As a percentage of programmed target weight,
• As a percentage of the quantity of one of the included materials,
• Or to a desired total formula weight.

In FillPlus, each formula can have an Auxiliary Output assigned to it, which allows the terminal to control external equipment in a way that is specific to the current formulation. This capability is further refined by the inclusion of several new Shared Data fields that can be used in data collection and printing, or to trigger additional actions.

Because FillPlus can be set to start formulation as soon as a formula is selected or re-scaled, there is no need for a dedicated “Start weigh-in” signal.

Finally, the Formula Table can be configured to accumulate total weight produced per formula.
